Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for several years. Elson began her acting career when she was a child, and later as model. She is best known for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction series. Andrea was selected to play Lynn Tanner in the popular ALF series ALF beginning in 1986. After a long time of work in hit TV shows and movies, she decided to leave the field to raise her family. ALF occurred during a turbulent period to Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. People magazine published an account of her career back in 2000. She said that growing up in the spotlight was not an easy task. Green-eyed Elson was born in New York City on March 6th 1970. She grew to be an actor who traveled the world due to her father's job as an advertising executive. Andrea was already a resident of New York, Chicago San Diego, and Los Angeles before she turned 10. In San Diego Andrea got an agent, and was able to get the role she tried to audition for. Fusco explained the decision in saying "ALF has a lifespan of 285 years which means he's old enough to drink beer." In the years when ALF became becoming more famous, NBC said that Fusco was no longer allowed to have ALF drinking beer before the children. It was considered a bad image of a role model. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF could drink alcohol even when he was an adult. In 1995 Fusco was diagnosed lymphoma. The treatment was successful and the disease remained in remission up to the end of 2019. In Englewood New York, in the Lillian Booth Actors Home on the 26th June, 2019, the 75-year-old actor was diagnosed with cancer and passed away.
