KingKing Von (real nickname Dayvon Daquan Bennett) was born August 9 of 1994 in Chicago, Illinois, to Walter Bennett and Taesha. The boy had three brothers as well as siblings from the mother. His father was a father to six half siblings. His father spent a lot of time being held in prison, which meant that Bennett was mostly cared for in the home of his mother. Bennett was just 11 and his father had been gunned down and murdered. Bennett had to serve his 16th term in prison. It was the start of a series of encounters with law enforcement. Afterward, he was awarded college credits from South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois. As a way to improve himself following further legal troubles, Bennett began pursuing his musical career, and was collaborating often with Lil Durk.Although "Welcome to O'Block" was the sole album that studio Von released during his lifetime The posthumous album "What is it to be King" was released in March of 2022.
